Function of Skin Exchanger Isolation Valve:
- In closed circuit configuration, the extracted avionics equipment air goes through the skin exchanger isolation valve into the skin heat exchanger to be cooled. Than this air is blown into the avionics equipment again. 


Maintenance Procedure: 
A. Opening Procedure of the Skin-Exchanger Isolation Valve
1. Disconnect the connector 24HQ-A from the skin-exchanger isolation valve 24HQ.
2. Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
3. Keep the electrical cable and its connector near the valve.
4. Fully open the skin-exchanger isolation valve 24HQ with the manual mechanism.
5. On the bottom part of the upper ECAM display unit: -The VENT AVNCS SYS FAULT warning comes into view.
Ignore this warning. On the ECAM control panel: -Push the CLR key.

B. Do the Operational Test of the AEVC from MCDU (Ref: AMM 21-26-00-710-001)
NOTE: Make sure that all the fault messages shown are related to the fault of the skin-exchanger isolation valve. If other messages are shown, refer to the related MMEL valve item.
